Border Guards detained one Bangladeshi, two Indian with narcotics
One more Bangladesh national was apprehended by the jawans of Border Security Force (BSF) on Wednesday from Ambassa Railway Station under Dhalai district.
BSF sources said that the apprehended Bangladesh national is a resident of Rajshahi district of Bangladesh.
In another operation based on specific input, BSF troops of Border Outpost (BOP) Kamalasagar under Sepahijala district conducted an operation in the hinterland and seized one Maruti Suzuki Omni vehicle loaded with 7,200 pieces of mobile displays worth Rs. 1.09 crore.
On Tuesday, based on specific intelligence, BSF troops of BOP Raghu under West Tripura district, in a joint operation with Airport police station carried out a house search in Indian village Narayanpur and recovered 11 kg of Ganja and arrested the house owner.
In a similar joint operation with police personnel from Kalamchowra police station, BSF troops of BOP Kalamchowra under Sepahijala district carried out a house search in Indian village Babamura, recovered 58.5 kg of Ganja and arrested the house owner.
BSF has intensified operations along the border as well as in the hinterland to prevent infiltration/exfiltration and trans-border crimes.
