BSF conducts Civic Action programmes at Bamutia, Bhagalpur and Jalaya

The Border Guards on Tuesday organized two Civic Action Programmes (CAP) at Berimura Higher Secondary School, Bamutia and Bhagalpur gram Panchayat in the area of 42nd battalion of BSF and another programme at Border Outpost (BOP) Jalaya base, 169 Battalion under Sector Headquarter BSF Udaipur.
Anil Sharma, DIG BSF SHQ Udaipur, Ajay Kumar, commandant of 169th battalion of BSF and other officials were present on the occasion.
In the civic action programme organized at Bamutia, Ajay Kumar, Commandant , public representative of the area, Teachers and staffs of Berimura HS School, Teberia HS School, Ranjit Pathsala, Binodini High School were present during the Civic action programme.
Various sports items, dress material, sewing machine, cycle for girls’ student, water storage tanks, bee keeping box and other misc items were distributed among students and people living along the border.
BSF through a press statement said that the civil society participated in the program with enthusiasm and appreciated BSF efforts.
In the Civic Action Programme (CAP) at BOP Jalaya base, 169 Battalion under Sector Headquarter BSF Udaipur, essential items like school bags, stationeries, sports items among students and furniture and other miscellaneous items among villagers of Silacheri, Khagracheri, JC Bari, SB Para, Bholanath Para, and Chaplinchera were distributed.
The programme concluded on a positive and joyful note, reinforcing BSF’s commitment to community welfare.
Border Security Force is not only the First Line of Defence but also committed for the well being of border population to make them self reliant. (OVER)
