CM announces 3% DA, DR hike for Govt Employees, Pensioners
Agartala, March 21 – In a major relief for government employees and pensioners, Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha today announced a 3% hike in Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR).
During the budget session of 2025-26 of Tripura, Chief Minister said that with this increase, the DA for state government employees and the DR for pensioners will rise from 30% to 33%, effective April 1, 2025.
Dr Saha said that for this a total of Rs 300 Crore would be spent from the state government.
This decision is expected to benefit thousands of government employees and retired personnel across the state.
