CM chairs review meeting for civic reception of Telangana Guv Jishnu Dev Varma

Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr Manik Saha on Thursday chaired a meeting to review the preparation for the civic reception program of Former Deputy Chief Minister of the state and Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma.

Dev Varma on July 31st took oath as Governor of Telangana and arrived in Tripura on August 08.

On Facebook, Dr Saha wrote that former Deputy CM of Tripura, Jishnu Dev Varma, took over as Governor of Telangana on July 31, 2024.

“He is the first person from Tripura to hold this position since Independence. On August 10, a civic reception program for Jishnu Dev Varma will be held at Kharang Community Hall, Mandwi”, he wrote.

He said that to ensure the success of this program, a significant meeting was chaired today with respected Minister Ratan Lal Nath, Sushanta Chowdhury, Bikash Debbarma, Animesh Debbarma, and Brijesh Pandey, Secretary.
