Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the amount for 17th installment under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi directly to farmers on June 18 next along with farmers of Tripura.

Agriculture Minister Ratan Lal Nath giving details on PM Kisan Samman Nidhi  said that  the 17th installment of Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, a total Rs. 20,000 crore amount to disburse farmers through Direct Bank Transfer (DBT) and the farmers of Tripura will also get the amount of their 17th installment on June 18.

Since introduction of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi in 2018, till date 11 crore farmers of the country benefited and till 16th installment, a total of 2,52,907 farmers of Tripura has received Rs. 687.43 crore and in the 17th installment, the state’s farmers will receive Rs. 48.44 crore, said Nath.
