Five days FDP starts at National Law University, Tripura
National Law University, Tripura in collaboration with NIEPA, New Delhi takes a significant stride towards modernizing and enhancing the quality of higher education in Northeast region with the inauguration of a five-days Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on "Designing, Developing, and Delivering Online, Blended Learning Courses.
The five-days hybrid FDP (13-17 December 2023) was inaugurated by Mr. N. C. Sharma, Director, Higher Education, Govt. of Tripura in presence of Prof. Yogesh Pratap Singh, Vice-Chancellor, NLU Tripura, Prof. K. Srinivas, Chairperson e-Learning Cell, NIEPA and Prof. Nachiketa Mittal Registrar, NLUT. Prof. Shashikala Wanjari, Vice-Chancellor, NIEPA joined the event virtually and expressed government and NIEPA’s commitment to equip faculty resources of state of Tripura in all the best possible manner keeping in mind the vision and mission of new education policy 2020.
The five days FDP aims to equip faculty members of various Universities/Colleges of Tripura with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to design, develop, and deliver effective online and blended learning courses. In an era where technology plays a pivotal role in education, this initiative underscores the commitment of NLU Tripura and NIEPA to staying at the forefront of innovative pedagogical practices. Faculty members from NLU Tripura, MBB University, TIT, Government Law College, ICFAI University and other colleges are participating in the workshop.
