Governor inaugurates new building complex of Holy Cross School, Agartala
The Holy Cross School of Agartala proclaimed a crowning stroke, yet again with the inauguration of its new Fr. Matthew Ullathill Block on Wednesday Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu inaugurated the new building complex.
This block, dedicated entirely to the little ones of nursery and kindergarten, was on the agenda of the Holy Cross Fathers for a while. The inception of this dream has finally materialised and to commemorate the inauguration ceremony of this magnificent edifice of learning, we were honoured to have with us as our Chief Guest, Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu, the Vicar General of Holy Cross Foundation, Fr. Emmanuel Kallarackal, CSC, provincial Administrators of Holy Cross Educational Foundation, principals, vice principals etc. among the various dignitaries and guests, said Holy Cross School through a statement.
The new edifice of learning will be the cornerstone of education and will serve to shape the future of the next generation with hope and purpose.
In his welcome address, principal Fr. Jilson Tom, welcoming the Governor and other esteemed guests, said this new building was a facility offered to the children of the state.
He said they would continue to serve the future generation of the state of Tripura, to nurture, mentor and inspire the youth to unlock their own potential.
While, addressing the inauguration programme, Governor congratulated the Holy Cross organisation for their collective commitment to future generations and reiterated that ‘in our role of education in shaping the future, empowering our children with skills and values in the ever-rapid technological advancement, we should make our youth confident and teach them to use technology with assurance and with caution.
The celebration concluded with a visit by the entourage around the premises.
