Govt expanding facilities to every house, CM
Massive developmental drive has been going on across the state and to reach the developmental schemes of the government in every house, Tripura has started “Prati Ghare Sushasan” (good governance in every house), said Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha.
After inaugurating the second storey building of Bharat Chandra Nagar R D Block, a godown and programme and “Prati Ghare Sushasan” in Belonia, Dr Saha highlighting the progress of the state in all sectors said that as per the statistic Tripura among five least crime rate of states of the country and massive boost up in health sector has also been continues. Now, all kinds of sophisticated and modern health facilities are available in the state.
Dr Saha also inaugurated the new building complex of Arya Colony HS school and an auditorium, while replying to a question of a Class VIII student of the school who wanted to know from where he got the inspiration to be the Chief Minister of the state. A smiling Chief Minister said it is a matter of politics adding that the biggest thing is to perform the duty entrusted upon one with sincerity. He told the students that getting a job should not be the only aim of education and advised them to be aware about social responsibilities.
Another student of class VI asked if the present system of examination will be changed when the Chief Minister said the central government has formulated a new education policy which will increase the standard of education. In reply to another question if there is any scope to go beyond what is being taught in the classes, the Chief minister appreciated the girl for asking the question and said the government is there to look after the facilities needed for expanding the education and there are schemes for the poor students also.
The Chief Minister was exchanging views with the students after inaugurating the double storied building and auditorium of the Belonia Arya Colony School. All the students were elated getting the Chief Minister among themselves, who replied to their questions with smiles. The Chief Minister also said that the government is aware about requirements of the schools and shortages of teachers and assured that the government has continued to recruit more teachers and has already appointed more than three thousand TET qualified as teachers. The Chief Minister advised the students to be respectful towards their teachers and to follow their instructions. He also told the teachers to perform their duties in a way so that the students can take them as role models.
