Guru Purnima celebrated at CSU, Ekalavya Campus
On the occasion of ‘Guru Purnima’, Guru pujan held at Central Sanskrit University, Ekalavya Campus on Sunday.
On the same day, this Gurupujan event was preceded by Guru purnima held at centralized level by Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi with active coordination by CSU, Vedvyas campus, Balahar in which all the campuses and affiliated institutions of CSU, New Delhi participated. Then in the Gurupujan event held at campus level, all the staff and students of the campus remained present.
CSU through a press statement said that on the occasion of Guru Purnima and Gurupujan, Shyam Sundar Brahmachari from Jagannath Mandir, Tripura remained present as the Guest of honour. In his address, Swamiji opined that Guru-Shishya parampara is an inevitable part of Indian education system and this pious relation confers the ethical liability to teachers of instilling value based education to students. This Gurupujan event held at CSU, Ekalavya Campus was presided over by Prof. Prabhat Kumar Mohapatra, Director of the campus. In his address, Prof. Prabhat Kumar Mohapatra highlighted the history of Guru Parampara system prevailed in our culture and its positive impact on education system. Prof. BPM Srinivas, Head of the Department of Shiksha Shastra also graced the session as Special Guest. This Gurupujan event at campus level was coordinated by Dr.Bichitra Ranjan Panda and Dr. Prakash Ranjan Mishra.
