HC judges, employees contribute Rs. 11.10 lakh to CM Relief Fund to support flood affected people

In a significant gesture of solidarity and public service, the Chief Justice of the High Court of Tripura along with other Judges, Officers and employees (Group C and above) of the High Court and District Judiciary of Tripura have collectively contributed a sum of Rs.11,10,353(Rupees Eleven Lakh Ten Thousand Three hundred and Fifty three) to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. This amount represents the equivalent of one day's basic salary from each of the contributors.
A cheque of the contributed amount was handed over to the Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha by the Registrar General of the High Court ,Vishwajeet Pandey.
This contribution from the State Judiciary is aimed to aid the ongoing efforts of the State Government for relief and rehabilitation of the flood victims.
