Indian Coast Guard delegation visits Assam Rifles at Agartala

A delegation of Indian Coast Guard is on a four day visit to Assam Rifles at its Kunjaban garrison, Agartala, Tripura from 08 December to 11 December.
Assam Rifles and Indian Coast Guard, vide their institutionalized ‘Charter of Affiliation’ has enabled them to foster greater understanding of each others’ way of functioning and thereby promoting bilateral cooperation between the two forces.
The delegation had an interaction with the Deputy Inspector General, 21 Sector. They visited the Integrated Check Post, Agartala and witnessed the Beating Retreat ceremony.
On the morning of 10 December 2024, the delegation interacted with the Governor of Tripura, Indra Sena Reddy Nallu, at Raj Bhavan, Agartala. The delegation also visited historical places of Tripura to include Ujjayanta Palace and Neermahal and learnt about the history of North East and Tripura.
