Kingpin involved with murder of Ajit Debbarma arrested

The kingpin involved with gruesome murder of a private security guard of NIT, Agartala at his house on Monday midnight at Bhadra Mistry Para under Jirania police station was arrested by police on Tuesday midnight.
Police sources said that based on the interrogation statement of wife (Rita Debbarma) of victim Ajit Debbarma (39), a joint tam of police forces of Jirania and Takharjala police stations managed to arrest Vishal Debbarma alias Jitu from a remote village in Jampuijala on Tuesday midnight.
Police sources said that arrested Vishal Debbarma was the kingpin of the murder of Ajit Debbarma and police suspected that extra-marital affairs of the deceased wife may be responsible for the murder.
Police also said that the investigation of the murder case under sections 448 and 302 of IPC are in the final stage and soon they will be able to arrest other assailants involved in the murder.
It may be recalled here that on Monday midnight Ajit Debbarma was beaten to death in front of his wife and one minor daughter at his house in Bhadra Mistry Para under Jirania police station. After the incident, based on preliminary investigation, police detained his wife Rita Debbarma.
