Longtharai Spices owner Ratan Debnath awarded ‘Best Taxpayer Award’ for 2024-25
Renowned industrialist of Tripura, Ratan Debnath shines as a bright star in business arena of the state and once again, he has proven his excellence through the tax contributions of each of his self-established enterprises.
At the prestigious GST awareness campaign held at Pragna Bhavan in Agartala on Saturday, inaugurated by the Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha and Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, Mr. Debnath was honored with the ‘Best Taxpayer Award’ for 2024-25 on behalf of his company, M/s Sova Enterprise.
Mr. Debnath has been consistently receiving this award over the years—sometimes for Annada Spice Industries, sometimes for M/s Sova Enterprise and for Annada Fertilizers and Agro Chemicals. This year was no exception, as he once again earned this distinguished recognition.
The event, organized by the Finance Department of Tripura government, aimed to highlight the importance and responsibility of tax payment and to encourage general business owners to contribute diligently. Recognizing top taxpayers was a significant part of this initiative.
At the event, the Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, along with the state's Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy presented the Best Taxpayer Award to Mr. Debnath. Overjoyed by this honor, Mr. Debnath expressed his gratitude to the state government for acknowledging his efforts through such initiatives. His employees across all his companies also shared the celebration of this proud achievement.
