Miscreants attacked father-son, robbed Rs. 11.5 lakh from Bishalgarh
Father and son stabbed and robbed of Rs11.5 lakh in a snatching incident by a group of three miscreants at Rashtarmatha area under the Kamalasagar Assembly constituency of Sepahijala district on Monday.
In the shocking broad daylight incident, miscreants had robbed Rs. 11.5 lakh and brutally injured both father and his son with sharp cutting weapons. Later, some local people rescued them and shifted them to Bishalgarh hospital.
Police sources said that one Harez Mia and Sagar Mia, residents of Matinagar, were returning home from Bishalgarh's Nabinagar after selling a piece of land. On the way, miscreants attacked them with knives, leaving both father and son severely injured and bleeding. The attackers then fled from the scene with Rs 11.5 lakh in cash. The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
