MP (Rajya Sabha) inaugurates new ambulance at NLU, Tripura

Rajib Bhattacharjee, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Tripura, and the generous donor of the newly sanctioned Ambulance, inaugurated the vehicle at the campus of the National Law University, Tripura, as the Chief Guest on Saturday.
The occasion was also graced by Prof. (Dr.) Tapan Majumdar, Director of Health Services, Government of Tripura, who attended as the Guest of Honour. In his address, the Chief Guest Rajib Bhattacharjee expressed his deep sense of commitment towards the progress of higher education and healthcare facilities in Tripura.
He highlighted the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat,’ emphasizing that the youth of today must become the torchbearers of change and nation-building. He urged the students to remain steadfast in the fight against the menace of drug abuse, which he described as a major obstacle to the development of both individuals and the nation.
Bhattacharjee further called upon the gathering to embrace and live the spirit of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ by promoting unity in diversity. The Guest of Honour, Prof. (Dr.) Tapan Majumdar, emphasized that the newly inaugurated Ambulance should not be viewed merely as a vehicle, but as a vital life-saving resource for the University community.
He also expressed gratitude to the Hon’ble Member of Parliament for his generous contribution. Prof. (Dr.) Yogesh Pratap Singh, Vice-Chancellor of NLU Tripura, extended a warm welcome to the dignitaries and expressed heartfelt thanks to the State Government for this notable support. He further highlighted that as the University is in its formative years, continued assistance from the State Government will be crucial for the timely completion of the new campus, enabling the institution to provide world-class facilities to its students. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Er. Aparajita Banerjee, Assistant Registrar, NLU Tripura.
