Nasha Mukt Abhiyaan celebrated by of Central Sanskrit University, Ekalavya Campus
As part of the 'Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan', drug de-addiction programme was celebrated from 19-26 June, 2025 in the campus premise of Central Sanskrit University, Ekalavya Campus.
On this occasion, a pledge for Nasha Mukt Bharat was administered on 19-06-2025. Besides, various kinds of events like awareness rally, debate, drawing, essay writing poster making, seminar etc. were also organized. The valedictory session of the same was conducted on 26-06-2025. Prof. Awadesh Kumar Chaubey, Director I/c of the campus presided over the session. In his speech, he highlighted the evil effects of drug addiction for the society and opined that girls have the potentiality in curving drug menace in the society. Prof. BPM Srinivas, Head of the department (Shiksha Shastra) graced the session as Guest of honour and emphasized the necessity of organizing such kinds of events more & more to make our young generation convinced of the side effects of drug addiction & to generate a sense of mass awareness.
Then as keynote speaker Dr. Swarga Kumar Mishra, Convenor of the Sahitya Department & Dr. Umesh Mishra, Head of the department (Vyakarana) in their address upheld the grim effect of drug addiction among a large section of youths in the society. All the students & staff of the campus remained present in this event.
