Nine police officers including six OCs transferred

Before official announcement of poll schedules for three-tier Panchayat elections in Tripura, the reshuffle of police officials has been started and in a minor transfer order, the police headquarters on Wednesday transferred eight police inspectors and a sub-inspector including six officer-in-charges (OCs).

A notification issued by the police headquarters said that the incumbent OC of East Agartala police station, Inspector Sanjit Sen has been transferred as  new OC of Bishalgarh police station by replacing incumbent OC Rana Chatterjee, who has been now assigned the task of OC of East Agartala police station.

Police Inspector Naru Gopal Das has been transferred from TPCB to OC of Kalamchowra police station, Inspector Debojit Chatterjee from Kadamtala police station to as OC of Madhupur police station, incumbent of OC of Churaibari police station, Samaresh Das has been transferred to office of SP-Dhalai district.

Similarly, Inspector Khokan Saha from office of the SP of South Tripura district transferred as new OC of Churaibari police station and Inspector Sumanta Bhattacharjee transferred from office of the SP-Gomati district to OC of Kadamtala police station and Inspector of Prasanta Kumar Dey from Kalamchowra police station to office of the SP of Gomati district. The police Sub-Inspector Bibhash Das, incumbent OC of Madhupur police station transferred to the office of SP, South Tripura district.
