Shyam Sundar Co Jewellers celebrating Yoga, presenting champions in making
Shyam Sundar Co Jewellers is sponsoring the Tripura Yoga Team to participate at the National Yoga Champonship that is scheduled to be held at Dhanbad, Jharkhand, from 28th to 30th December 2024.
The objective is to add to all the preparation for the state team to excel at the national championship later this month.
And the sponsorship of Rs 1, 00,000/- is for covering related expenses including jerseys, travel, incidentals and a 7-day training camp.
At a special press preview, earlier today, the 57- member team of yoga participants and coaches - across all age-groups and categories - were present; and they were wished winning performances at the National Championship in Dhanbad - as part of an encouraging send-off.
Presiding, at the special preview, were Tinku Roy, Sports Minister, Tripura Sports Council, Mr Dibyendu Dutta, Secretary, Tripura Yoga Association and Mr. Rupak Saha, Director, Shyam Sundar Co Jewellers and President, Tripura Yoga Association.
"It gives me great pleasure to be here and wish the home team all the very best at the national championship in Dhanbad", said Minister Tinku Roy.
“I am very pleased to know that like last few years, this year also Tripura Yoga Team is supported by Shyam Sundar Co. Jewellers. I wish all the luck to our state team”, said Dibyendu Dutta.
"We have always extended the pursuit of excellence beyond the four walls of the jewellery showrooms and celebrated all that is really gold", said Rupak Saha, "And this sponsorship of Tripura Yoga Team is yet another move in that direction"
He also said, "Yoga has always been very close to our heart and we have - time and again - demonstrated this love by spreading awareness of the benefits of this traditional fitness regime and the need to practice it regularly, and, with this support line for the home team, we are specially overjoyed at being able to help champion yoga practitioners take Tripura, places".
