Sports Minister inaugurates 7th National Zendokai Karate championship
Youth Affairs and Sports Minister of Tripura, Tinku Roy has inaugurated the 7th National Zendokai Karate Championship on Saturday at Agartala.
The 7th edition of the event is being hosted by Assam Rifles in collaboration with Tripura Zendokai Karate Association at Assam Rifles Public School, Agartala with an aim to promote Zendokai Karate as a sport to foster discipline, strength and sportsmanship among the youth.
A total of 161 participants including 108 boys and 53 girls from 10 states are competing across various age categories and skill levels, demonstrating their dedication and training in Zendokai Karate. With participants travelling from different states of the country, the two-day event underscores the unity and competitive spirit within India's Zendokai Karate community.
