State government announced festival grant for all employees
Tripura government has sanctioned increased festival grants for various categories of employees in the state on the eve of ‘Durga Puja’.
A notification issued by the Finance department on Saturday (September 21) said that various categories of government employees including Group-C and D will get the festival grant Rs. 2000 (revised rate) and DRWs employees who have been engaged with prior concurrence of Finance department will also get ‘festival grant’ of Rs. 2000.
The part time workers, contractual, casual workers, Anganwadi workers, helpers, Home Guards and SPO jawans get festival grants of Rs. 2200.
As per the notification of the Finance department, pensioners and family pensioners and prients of government run temples will get ‘festival grant’ of Rs. 2000.
The notification added that workers, staff under the central scheme, the concerned department will decide over the quantum of festival grant.
