TBSE to bring changes in exam schedules to keep pace with CBSE
In order to align with the examination schedule like CBSE, the Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) for the betterment of students will bring changes in the examination schedule.
This year, the examinations for both Madhyamik (Class-X) and Higher Secondary (Class-12) will commence in the middle of February 2025 instead of its earlier scheduled in March 2025 said TBSE President Dr Dhananjoy Gon Chowdhury in a press conference held at their Conference Hall in the presence of Dr Dulal Dey, Secretary and other officials of the board on Tuesday. He said that the practical examinations of various subjects of Class 10th and 12th will start from 15th November 2024 to completed on December 5, 2024. The candidates of Class 10th will attend practical examinations on 10 vocational subjects while candidates of Class 12th will attend nine various subjects, he added. This year, a total of 8,139 Madhyamik candidates will appear at the Madhyamik Exam-2025. The TBSE executives are working out the examination schedule which will be published in due course of time for information of all stakeholders, he added after wishing good luck to the prospective candidates in the new schedule. He also sought cooperation from all in bringing parity in conformity with the CBSE.
This year’s Class 10th and 12th Exams under the Tripura Board of Secondary Examination (TBSE) will be held sometime in the middle of February 2025 said the TBSE President. He told NEC Representative, that many parents alleged that the CBSE exam is held in February every year, and as the TBSE board exam is held a bit late in March, it caused a delay in publishing the results; consequently, the candidates of this board subjected to face a sort of inconveniences in getting admission to higher education including in various professional courses due to late session practice. So, to eliminate this problem, the TBSE has now moved forward with the previous examination schedule for the year 2025 so that the students of this Board can proceed on par with the candidates of CBSE, he added. The Practical exams are scheduled to start on November 15, 2024, to be completed on December 5, 2024.
