In tragic road mishap, three unidentified youths died at the spot when their speeding motorbike crashed with a roadside culvert at Champaknagar area under Jirania police station on Friday afternoon.
Police sources said that three tribal youths with a motorbike (TR-01-E-9084) were moving towards Baramura hill ranges from Chanpaknagar Bazar side in the national highway-8 at heavy speed. As per the witnesses of some local people, three youths after crossing Champaknagar market at heavy speed crashed with a roadside culvert near the temple of NH.
After hearing a heavy sound of crush, local people rushed to the spot and they with the help of firefighters and police shifted all these youths to Jirania hospital, where they were all declared brought dead.
Later, police shifted the bodies of these three unidentified youths aged about 22 to 25 years into GB Hospital morgue for autopsy. Police added that the tragic road accident held due to reckless driving and they registered a case and started the investigation process to establish the identities of all three youths.
