Tipra-Motha meets DGP seeking stringent punishment for accused involved in Sariful Islam murder

Demanding stringent punishment of all arrested accused persons involved in the sensational and brutal murder of Sariful Islam of Indranagar, the minority cell of ruling alliance partner Tipra-Motha on Monday met the DGP in a deputation.
Earlier, a team of opposition CPI (M) led by leader of opposition (LoP) Jitendra Chaudhury visited slain youth’s house and met bereaved family members.
Both ruling alliance partner Tipra-Motha and opposition CPI(M) through their sympathy with minorities of the state are busy creating communal sentiments over the murder of a minority youth, which was mainly committed by all accused persons due to love triangle.
While speaking with media persons, a leader of the Minority cell of Tipra-Motha said that they met the DGP at police headquarters and submitted a memorandum citing remedies for some growing issues.
They demanded immediate arrest of all accused involved in the brutal murder of minority boy Sariful Islam and ensured stringent punishment of all accused.
The minority leaders also urged the DGP to identify all illegal migrants across Tripura and their push back to Bangladesh.
