Tiyash Debnath, a standout 17-year-old boy from Tripura and possibly the entire North Eastern region of India, has achieved an extraordinary feat by becoming a finalist in the Alee Club 26th Miss & Mr. Teen India 2024. Tiyash is among the 88 finalists set to grace the ramp on August 31 in New Delhi.
The pageant ‘Alee Club 26th Miss & Mr. Teen India 2024’ is celebrated as the oldest, largest, and only Limca Book Record-holding event for teens in India. Directed by the renowned show director Rampguru Sambita Bose, the competition is acclaimed for discovering and nurturing young talent from across the nation.
The Alee Club 26th Miss & Mr. Teen India 2024 garnered a tremendous response, with auditions held in 14 cities nationwide. Teenagers aged 13 to 19 eagerly participated in this prestigious competition. Tiyash Debnath’s inspiring journey began at the auditions in Kolkata on June 14, where he stood out among 200 participants, successfully advancing through the Initial Screening Round to the Semi-Final Round. The Semi-Final took place on July 27 at Radisson Blu, Paschim Vihar in New Delhi.
After a rigorous evaluation of contestants from across the country, Tiyash Debnath emerged as a finalist, making his state and family proud. The Grand Finale, scheduled for August, will be judged by Mega Star Arbaaz Khan, Rampguru Sambita Bose, and other Bollywood celebrities.
Speaking to this reporter, Tiyash’s father, Mithun Debnath, shared, “Ahead of the final round in New Delhi, Tiyash will attend a grooming session from August 22 to 30 at a five-star hotel. The jury members for the auditions include renowned actors Arbaaz Khan, Tushar Kapoor, Puja Banerjee, and others. Voting lines are expected to open from August 22 onwards.”
“Tiyash was a student at Holy Cross School, Agartala from Nursery to Class X, achieving excellent results. He then enrolled in Class XI at Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Vidya Mandir, Agartala,” Debnath added.
Citing his achievements, Tiyash’s mother, Indira Debnath, shared, “In 2015, Tiyash earned the title ‘Junior Mr. Tripura’ and was the first runner-up of ‘Mr. Teen Northeast India’ in 2019. He has acted in audio-visual advertisements for brands like Shankhalaya, Planet Fashion, Game Zone, Bahari Paachpuran, and more. He also played the lead role in a crime series about a teen named Shivam, who was allegedly murdered by another teen in the Bankumari area of Agartala city.”
“From the age of three, Tiyash had a passion for dance and won several positions in dance competitions . He also participated in India’s Got Talent and secured the fifth position on the ‘Show of Clicks’,” she added.
