Tobacco free campaign observed at Central Sanskrit University

Central Sanskrit University (CSU), Ekalavya Campus at Lembucherra, observed Tobacco Free Campaign 2.O in its Campus premise on Tuesday in coordination with NSS unit of the campus.
On this occasion, an awareness rally against tobacco addiction was also organized in which all the staff and students participated. Besides, a pledge for Tobacco free society was administered in which all the staff and students took part. After this, an extension lecture on the evil effects of tobacco addiction was delivered by Dr. H. K. Pratihari, Director, NFSU, Tripura Campus as Chief Guest.
A press statement of CUSU said that in his speech, he highlighted the evil impacts of tobacco or any kinds of drug addiction in the society. This session was presided over by Prof. Prabhat Kumar Mohapatra, Director of CSU, Ekalavya Campus. In his speech, he condemned the drug business as the carcinogenic factor of the society and urged all students to be aware against tobacco and any kinds of drug addiction. All the staff & students attended the session with bated breath. This event was coordinated by Dr. Nanda Dulal Mandal, Assistant Professor (Shiksha Shastra) and Dr. Brahma Nand Mishra, Assistant Professor (Hindi).
