The Monsoon session of Tripura Legislative Assembly will begin from August 27 for next three days.
The detailed schedule and business of the upcoming session were finalised at a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) held on Friday at the assembly complex under the chairmanship of Speaker Rampada Jamatia.
After the BAC meeting, giving details of the business, Speaker Rampada Jamatia said that the after detailed discussion with members of BAC, the session will begin on August 27 and will continue on August 28 and will conclude on August 31st next.
While, he cannot give details of the three days business of the House.
The Business Advisory Committee (BAC) of Tripura Assembly Secretariat has imposed a series of security restrictions for entry into the Assembly premises during the Tenth Session of the 13th Tripura Legislative Assembly, which is scheduled to commence on August 27.
According to an official notification issued by the Assembly Secretariat, no individual or vehicle will be allowed to enter the Assembly premises without a valid entry pass issued by the Secretariat. The restrictions have been enforced to ensure security during the Assembly session.
Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs), media personnel and Assembly employees will be required to produce their identity cards or valid entry passes issued by the Assembly Secretariat whenever demanded by security personnel at the entry gates.
The notification further states that MLAs, accredited media personnel and Assembly staff may enter the premises in vehicles or other modes of transport only with valid entry permits. However, visitors, government officials, journalists and Assembly employees carrying bags or any objectionable items will not be permitted to enter the Assembly premises.
