Tripura’s renowned entrepreneur Kanak Jain died in road mishap at Rajasthan

In a tragic incident, Tripura’s renowned entrepreneur Kanak Jain (59)  killed in a serious road mishap on the national highway from Jaipur in Rajasthan to his home town in Churu district headquarters on Monday midnight.

 Sources said  that Kanak, son of late businessman Milap Chand Jain who had launched the famous ‘Parshwanath Stores’ in Agartala’s central road, had left for Delhi by plane on Monday  en route to Churu via Jaipur in his home state Rajasthan.

After reaching Delhi safely he headed for Jaipur in Rajasthan and from there he had headed for Churu by a vehicle. Midway between Jaipur and Churu the vehicle in which he had been travelling collided straight with an oil tanker coming from the opposite direction. As a result, the car in which Kanak Jain was travelling  overturned and he died on the spot.

Besides being a businessman and entrepreneur registered with the Industry and Power department, Kanak Jain  was a well-known personality in Agartala due to his polite and gentle behavior and a very fondly man among morning walkers in MBB College ground. He was also a very popular man with his friends and associates because of his generous nature.  His death has cast a shadow of deep grief and mourning across business and industrialist circles in the state capital.
