Two love birds commit suicide inside a tea garden at Simna
In a tragic incident, two love birds committed suicide by hanging themselves inside Krishnapur tea garden under Simna assembly constituency of West Tripura district on Sunday morning.
Police sources said that local villagers noticed an unidentified couple hanging in a tree jointly and they informed the police.
Police with a forensic team rushed to the spot and they identified the deceased woman as Gayatri Munda, wife of Gopesh Munda of Abhiram Tilla, a mother of three years old girl and the deceased young man was identified as Saju Santal.
Local villagers said that both deceased man and woman had recently developed their illicit love affairs and both were brother and sister-in-law in relations. But, the villagers could not understand why they committed suicide.
While, husband of the deceased woman, Gopesh Munda said that he was not aware of any illicit relationship with his wife, but she was missing since early morning of Sunday.
Meanwhile, police shifted both bodies to hospital morgue and started an investigation to unearth the reason behind their suicide.
