Two mini-trucks collides face on, one driver died at NH-208

In a tragic road accident, a mini truck driver, when two mini trucks collided at National Highway -208 portion of Nibaranbari area under Khowai district in the early hours of Friday.
Police sources said that one loaded mini truck was stranded at the highway in Nibaranbari area in the early hours of Friday and another mini truck (container) with registration number TR-01-C-1406 was proceeding towards Khowai-Kamalpur route from Agartala at heavy speed. But, the driver of the truck, identified as Ismail Miah (42) of Palatana area of Udaipur under Gomati district inadvertently crashed into a stranded truck.
As a result, driver Ismail Miah suffered critical injuries. Later, some morning workers, after hearing the heavy sound of crush, rushed to the spot and they informed police and firefighters. Firefighters shifted the injured driver to Khowai district hospital, where a visiting doctor declared him dead.
