Villager gets bullet injuries in Dhalai, shifted to GB Hospital

In a mysterious incident, a village of remote Khash Mile village of Manikpur under Dhalai district suffered critical bullet injury when he was busy collecting broom grass in the jungle.
Police sources said that a villager identified as Ratnajoy Reang (29) on Thursday afternoon went to the deep jungles of Khash Mile village to collect broom grass and when he was busy to collect broom, all of sudden a bullet struck on his abdominal part of the body and collapsed in the ground.
After hearing hue and cry, some other villagers rushed to the spot and shifted him to Manikpur rural hospital. After his condition deteriorated, injured Ratnajoy Reang shifted to GB Hospital in critical condition.
Police added that they have registered a specific case and started investigation how the villager got bullet injuries. Police also suspected that he might get the bullet injury from an unknown hunter bullet.
