Young lady body recovered from a flat in Agartala in mysterious condition, neighbours suspects murder
A housewife's body was recovered in mysterious condition from a flat at Durga Chowmuhani area of Agartala with sharp injuries at her back of head on Thursday morning.
Police sources said that the deceased housewife was identified as Anamika Acharjee (25), wife of one Santanu Bhattacharjee, an employee of Axis Bank of Belonia branch. After recovery of the body, police shifted it to GB Hospital morgue for autopsy and initiated an investigation to unearth the mystery of the dead.
Police sources claimed that a preliminary investigation revealed that the deceased housewife had received blatant head injuries and fill the findings of forensic and autopsy reports, they cannot say anything specifically over the nature of the death.
While, husband of the deceased woman speaking with media persons said that on Thursday early morning left his flat towards his bank branch at Belonia in front of his wife. But, after reaching his work place, he learnt about the tragic incident and rushed to GB Hospital, where he found his wife already.
He also raised questions over the nature of the wife’s death and demanded proper police investigation.
Meanwhile, neighbours of the residential flat claimed that the deceased woman had developed an illicit relationship with another boy through Facebook and they suspected that the accused boy might have a concrete role in the mysterious death of Anamika Acharjee.
