Youth dies due to overdoses of drug

A 21 years old boy died of suspected overdoses of drugs on Monday at GB Hospital during treatment.
Sources said the deceased youth identified as Akash Sarkar (21) had taking drugs including injectable drugs and tablets for the past few years and was admitted to GB Hospital three days ago after he was found unconscious mode at his house in Kalikamura area of Narsingarh under West Tripura district.
Due to his deteriorated condition, Akash was shifted to the ICU of the hospital, but on Monday morning succumbed due to his over doses of drugs.
While, police sources added that the body of the deceased youth has been shifted to hospital morgue as per suggestion of visiting doctor to unearth the actual reason of his death.
Speaking with media persons, the victim youth's mother said that she lost her only son due to drug abuse and appealed to the authorities to stop drug menaces from the society. Otherwise, like her many mothers will lose their sons. She also alleged there are many kinds of drugs that are rampantly selling in every nook and corner of their locality and police administration have virtually failed to stop these menace from society.
