Afghanistan: Several feared dead in Kabul airport blast
Kabul: An explosion occurred on Sunday at a military airport in Afghanistan’s capital Kabul, Interior Ministry spokesman Nafi Takoor said, adding that several people were killed or injured in the incident.

"This morning, there was an explosion at the Kabul military airport, due to which a number of our citizens were martyred and injured," Takoor said in a statement.
The specific nature of the blast and its target are still not known.
Media reports said that a massive explosion was heard before 8 am close to the military side of the heavily fortified airport.
