Authorities arrest 64 drug offenders in Singapore
Singapore's Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) arrested 64 suspected drug offenders, including a 17-year-old student, in nationwide anti-drug operations from March 18 to March 22, according to a statement published by the bureau on Saturday.
The CNB seized 11,467 grams of cannabis and 1,336 grams of ice, among other drugs, with an estimated value of 555,000 Singapore dollars (412,000 U.S. dollars).
The seized cannabis and ice can feed about 2,400 abusers for a week, the CNB added.
