Bangladeshi singer Noble arrested on rape charge
Popular Bangladeshi singer Mainul Ahsan Noble, who gained immense popularity in the bordering Indian state of West Bengal, has been arrested from Dhaka in a rape case.

Police arrested the singer from Sarulia at Demra around 2:00am after a woman filed a case against him on charges of rape and torture.
A student of Eden Mahila College filed the case last night, Mahmudur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Demra Police Station told The Daily Star.
In the case statement, she alleged that Nobel abducted and raped her, the OC said.
The victim has been sent to a hospital in Dhaka.
The singer gained popularity in India after participating and finishing third in the popular reality show "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa" on Zee Bangla TV.
