Bus crashes in Russia, 2 die
Two people were killed and another 26 injured in a bus crash in southwestern Russia's Samara region, RIA Novosti news agency reported Monday, citing the regional health ministry.
The bus slid into a ditch and overturned on the Ural-Mukhanovo highway near the rural settlement of Alakaevka, the regional prosecutor's office reported earlier in the day.
The bus, registered in Kazakhstan, was transporting citizens of Uzbekistan to central Russia's Nizhny Novgorod region, the local traffic police said on Telegram.
