Kamala Harris and Joe Biden ignored Hindus: Donald Trump condemns attack on minorities in Bangladesh
Washington D.C./IBNS: In a reach out to the Hindus in America ahead of the US Presidential Elections, Republican candidate Donald Trump has lashed out at US President Joe Biden and Democratic nominee Kamala Harris for allegedly ignoring the minorities in the country as well as the world.
Trump made the comment in the backdrop of the attack on Hindu minorities in Bangladesh, which witnessed a change of power in August.
In a long X post, Trump, a former President who is running the November 5 elections, said, "I strongly condemn the barbaric violence against Hindus, Christians, and other minorities who are getting attacked and looted by mobs in Bangladesh, which remains in a total state of chaos.
"It would have never happened on my watch. Kamala and Joe have ignored Hindus across the world and in America. They have been a disaster from Israel to Ukraine to our own Southern Border, but we will Make America Strong Again and bring back Peace through Strength!"
In August this year, shops, temples and houses belonging to the Hindu community members were vandalised by radicals during the massive protest in Bangladesh which initially began as a student protest against a controversial quota system but soon spiralled into a massive movement against former PM Sheikh Hasina's government.
Amid violent demonstrations, Hasina fled to India on August 5, leading to the end of her regime.

Trump has also vowed to work closely with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with whom he used to share bonhomie during his tenure from 2016-2020.
The former US President wrote on X, "We will also protect Hindu Americans against the anti-religion agenda of the radical left. We will fight for your freedom. Under my administration, we will also strengthen our great partnership with India and my good friend, Prime Minister Modi."
In an attack on Kamala Harris, who is the present US Vice President, Trump said his opponent would destroy small businesses while he will make America the "greatest economy in history".
Trump wrote in the social media post, "Kamala Harris will destroy your small businesses with more regulations and higher taxes. By contrast, I cut taxes, cut regulations, unleashed American energy, and built the greatest economy in history. We will do it again, bigger and better than ever before—and we will Make America Great Again."
