Pakistan-Bangladesh bond: Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar arrives in Dhaka, scheduled to meet top leaders
Pakistani foreign minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar arrived in Dhaka on Saturday, marking the close bond shared between the two neighbours.
Dar will visit Bangladesh from August 23 to August 24 when he will meet several top leaders of the country.

Pakistan's Ministry of Foregin Affairs described the Minister's visit to Bangladesh as 'historic'.

Bangladesh Foreign Secretary Asad Alam Siam welcomed Dar to the country after he landed in Dhaka.
According to reports, Pakistan High Commissioner to Bangladesh Imran Haider and Bangladesh High Commissioner to Pakistan Muhammad Iqbal Khan were also present at the airport to welcome him.
Sharing details about the meeting, Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said: "Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar @MIshaqDar50 , embarks upon a historic visit to Bangladesh. In Dhaka, he will hold important meetings with Bangladeshi leaders. The visit is a significant milestone in Pakistan-Bangladesh relations as a Pakistani Foreign Minister is visiting Bangladesh after a gap of around 13 years."
