Pakistan: Hindu girl abducted, gang-raped and murdered in Cholistan
An 18-year-old Hindu girl has been allegedly abducted, gang-raped and murdered in Paksitan's Cholistan region, media reports said.
According to reports, the incident happened between the night Oct 3 and 4 when the victim (K) mysteriously disappeared from her hut in the desert in the area of Qasimwala Bangla in the limits of the Derawar Police Station.
The girl’s parents searched for her but could not trace her. After 24 hours, the family found her body in the nearby canal, reported Dawn News.
The girl’s father alleged that his daughter was gang-raped by four men. He identified the suspects and nominated three of them in the first information report (FIR) registered under sections of rape and murder with the Derawar Police Station, the Pakistani newspaper reported.

The victim's body has been sent for postmortem.
Police said all three suspects in the incident, who have been named in the FIR, have been arrested.
