President Trump announces White House to host UFC event to mark 250th American Independence Day
US President Donald Trump has said he is planning to host a UFC event at the White House grounds to mark the 250th anniversary of the country next year.

The announcement was made ahead of the 4th July celebration.
Trump was a regular attendee of UFC events before taking office.
He is quite close to UFC President Dana White.
"We are going to have some incredible events, some professional events, some amateur events," Trump was quoted as saying by BBC.
Addressing the crowd during an appearance at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines, the American President said: "Does anybody watch UFC? The great Dana White? We're going to have a UFC fight. We're going to have a UFC fight - think of this - on the grounds of the White House. We have a lot of land there."
Confirming the development, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt wrote on X: "It’s going to be EPIC!"
