Russian mine collapse leaves 13 trapped, rescue operation ongoing
Some thirteen people could be trapped under rubble after a mine collapse in Russia's Amur Region in the Far East, local emergency services said on Monday.
"According to preliminary information, thirteen people may be under the rubble after a rock collapse at the mine," local RIA news agency reported, citing the emergency authorities.
Rescue team has been dispatched to the scene, said the authorities.
The cause of the accident is yet unknown.
