USA: 10 die after man rams truck on crowd in New Orleans during New Year celebrations
At least 10 people died and 30 others were injured after a man drove a pickup truck on people intentionally in New Orleans city of the US during New Year celebration on Wednesday.
The incident occurred just days after a Saudi man rammed a car into a crowd at a Christmas market in the German city of Magdeburg which left five people dead.
According to some sections of the media reports, the driver of the vehicle also fired at the crowd.

Confirming the number of deceased in the attack, NOLA Ready said: "There are10 fatalities."
"There are 30 injured that have been transported by NOEMS to the following hospitals," NOLA Ready said.
UPDATE: Meanwhile, according to latestest reports, the suspect in New Orleans attack has been identified as Shamsud-Din Jabbar. The 42-year-old - who was shot dead - was named by the FBI, which said he was an American-born Army veteran from Texas, reported Sky News. ISIS flag and weapons were recovered.
Eyewitnesses recount horrifying incident
“All I seen was a truck slamming into everyone on the left side of Bourbon sidewalk,” said Kevin Garcia, 22, speaking to CNN shortly after the incident.
“A body came flying at me,” he said, adding that he also heard gunshots being fired.
Another witness, 22-year-old Whit Davis from Shreveport, Louisiana, told CNN the incident occurred while he was leaving a nightclub on Bourbon Street.
“Everyone started yelling and screaming and running to the back, and then we basically went into lockdown for a little bit and then it calmed down but they wouldn’t let us leave,” Davis said.
In the Magdeburg attack incident, 200 people were injured.
He was arrested on murder charges.
