Israel carried out the strikes in response to repeated Houthi attacks on Israel with missiles and UAVs.
"The Houthis, backed by Iran, continue to exploit civilian infrastructure for terror purposes," the IDF said.
According to reports, Houthis had launched missiles and drones towards Israel and targeted ships in the Red Sea for over the past 22 months.
Houthis claimed they carried out the attacks in solidarity with Palestine amid the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip.
In the past week, Houthis had even launched two ballistic missiles and at least one drone at Israel.
The Houthis last attacked Israel on Friday night with a ballistic missile that was not intercepted, reported The Times of Israel.
