You f***ing immigrant: Indian couple faces racial abuse in Canada, video goes viral
An Indian couple were caught on camera verbally being abused by a group of Canadian youngsters in Peterborough, Ontario.
The video has now gone viral across social media platforms.

In the viral video, the couple could be seen verbally abusing the couple while they were seated inside their car in the parking lot of Lansdowne Place Mall in Peterborough.
The video showed that the Canadian men were blocking the path of the car of the Indian couple with their truck.
“Do you want me to get out of the car and f***ing kill you?” one of the Canadians was heard as quoted by Hindustan Times.
The men were also seen mocking the Indian couple and passing racist remarks against them.
“Hey big nose, did I touch you? Did I touch you, yes or no? Answer my question, you f***ing immigrant,” one of the men was quoted as saying in the video.
Police arrest one person
Meanwhile, the Peterborough Police Service has arrested a person in connection with the incident.
The accused has been released on an undertaking and will appear in court September 16.
While there is no specific charge for hate crime in Canada that applies to this incident, there is a hate crime element to this case and that will be addressed as the case moves through the court process.
"Anybody who has seen the video in this case will understand that that type of behaviour is not acceptable in our community, nor any community. I would like to thank everyone who came forward with information in connection with this incident. Clearly this is not the standard of acceptable behaviour in our city. We encourage residents to continue to report hate bias incidents/crimes that take place in our community. Reporting these incidents to police is crucial to ensuring we have the information needed to investigate and pursue charges when appropriate. We are committed to keeping our community safe for everyone who lives, works, or visits here." Chief Stuart Betts, Peterborough Police Service.
