Zelenskyy says European Army needs to be created to counter Russia

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskyy said there is a need to create a European Army to counter Russia's military build-up.
"I really believe that the time has come that the armed forces of Europe must be created," Zelenskyy said in a speech at the Munich Security Conference as quoted by Politico.
"Let's be honest, now we can't rule out that America might say 'no' to Europe on issues that might threaten it," he said.
He commented at a time when the Russia and Ukraine conflict is heading towards its third year since it began in 2022.
"Europe has everything it takes. Europe just needs to come together and start acting in a way that no one can say 'no' to Europe, boss it around, or treat it like a pushover," he said.
Zelenskyy made the comment at a time when there is a growing talk about US-led effort to end war.
