Jio launches new premium OTT broadband plan at ₹888 with Netflix, Amazon Prime, and JioCinema
Mumbai/IBNS: Aiming at avid steamers, Reliance Jio has unveiled a new Rs 888 monthly plan offering unlimited data and access to 15 major over-the-top (OTT) platforms, including Netflix basic subscription.
On Friday (May 10), the telecom service provider said that it has bundled premium services of 15 apps, including basic subscription of Netflix, Amazon Prime Lite, Disney+ Hotstar, Zee5, SonyLIV, and Jio Cinema Premium, with its 30 mbps broadband plan for Rs 888/month.
The plan, which comes with a validity of 30 days, offers access to more than 800 digital TV channels.
According to Jio, the new recharge plan is available for existing and new users of the Jio AirFiber and JioFiber, and all those subscribed to the company’s prepaid plans can upgrade to the new plan with several OTT platforms.
Reliance Jio also mentioned that the “IPL Dan Dhana Dhan” offer, which is valid till May 31, 2024, also applies to the Rs 888/month plan.
However, Jio’s SIM users are not eligible for this offer as it is only available to those using a broadband connection or planning to get one.
The new Rs 888 monthly plan will cost users Rs 1,048, including 18 percent GST.
