Marico says its Nihar Naturals Hair Oil touches over 50 pct market penetration in West Bengal
Marico Limited on Friday said its Nihar Naturals Hair Oil has touched over 50 percent market penetration in West Bengal.
The company said Nihar Naturals holds the numero uno position in the Eastern Indian region.
Speaking to IBNS, Somasree Bose Awasthi said: "West Bengal has always remained a key market for us."
"Every one in two households in the region trust us as far as hair care is concerned," she said.
"We aim to boost our investment in consumer activation to further strengthen our consumer co9nnect in the state and Eastern India," she said.
Speaking on the pan India value-added market share of Nihar Naturals, she said: "In the value-added market, Nihar is the number one brand."
"We have been growing very well with our newer variants," she said.
She said Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra remain the key markets of the company apart from West Bengal.
