A single bench headed by Justice M. Nagaprasanna said this while going through the appeal petition filed by the accused.
The accused persons were charged under several sections including the one that pertains to outrage of religious feelings.
The police had charged the two for allegedly entering into a mosque and chanting 'Jai Shri Ram'.
The incident occurred on September 24, 2023.
In its judgement, the High Court underlined that the complainant had mentioned that Hindus and Muslims live in harmony in the area where the incident had allegedly happened.
