Chhattisgarh: 7 Maoists killed, several weapons recovered
Raipur/IBNS: Seven Maoists including two women have been killed in an encounter which took place in the Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh, media reports said.

Several weapons including an AK-47 have been recovered.
The encounter, which took place between Maoists and a joint security team of the District Reserve Guard and the Special Task Force, started at 6 am on Tuesday, NDTV reported.
An official was quoted by the media as saying, "An encounter took place between the police party and Maoists in the forest between the village Tekmeta and Kakur.
"During the search of the incident site, the bodies of a total of seven Maoist cadres, including two female Maoists, were recovered and their identifications are underway."
