Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu hospitalised after intestinal infection
Shimla/UNI: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu was hospitalised at Indira Gandhi Government Medical College & Hospital (IGMC Shimla) for treatment of intestinal infection.
Sr Medical Superintendent of IGMC&H Dr. Rahul Rao, confirmed in a statement issued on Thursday morning.
Dr. Rahul Rao assured that the Chief Minister’s health condition is currently stable.
He stated, "The ultrasound report is normal, and all of his medical examinations have returned normal results. Chief Minister Sukhu is under observation at IGMC Shimla, where further examinations are being conducted to ensure his well-being."
According to CMO Mr Sukhu was rushed to IGMC in the early hours around 0300 hrs today after he complained of stomach infection.
Further updates on his condition are expected as the medical team continues to assess and provide necessary care.
The people of Himachal Pradesh, as well as political leaders and citizens from across the state, are extending their best wishes for a swift recovery to the Chief Minister.
